Extended Day Care (EDC)

Extended Day Care is available to children from 7:00 AM – 5:00 P.M. The use of Extended Day Care is limited to the days the child is registered for.

In Extended Day Care your child will participate in lunch, and outside play.  Any child signed in to stay after 1:30 will lie down for a rest/nap from 1:00-3:00.  We will provide an afternoon snack and additional outside playtime. 

Extended Day Care is open from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM charges are based on the hours used.  The current hourly charge is $10.00 and is rounded to 1/2 hour.  Children must be enrolled in a class to use Extended Day Care.

 NEW – Drop In Day Care

Starting August 11th, drop-in care will be available for any child registered at SCUMP from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Your child can attend EDC on a day when they are not scheduled to be in class. You don’t need to plan care in advance; drop your child off at any time.

The class will be multi-age and will provide various activities that meet the exact requirements of your child’s regular class, while offering families the flexibility of childcare on days your child is not scheduled to attend.

The cost is only $10/per hour.
