About Us

San Carlos Preschool has provided a high-quality, safe, and nurturing environment for children 2 1/2 years through Pre-Kindergarten, since 1969! Our curriculum is designed to inspire your child through developmentally appropriate hands-on, play-oriented activities.  These activities are designed to develop children’s self-esteem and positive feelings toward learning.

We strive to nurture the curiosity of each child.  Children are introduced and exposed to a wide variety of concepts: math, science, language, culture, music, art, and health.  We respond to the needs of families by providing for the social-emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual development of our students.

Our Philosophy

At San Carlos Preschool, we believe that every child is a unique individual with their own strengths, interests, and potential. Our philosophy is rooted in the understanding that children learn best through play. We are committed to providing a nurturing environment where play is the primary vehicle for exploration, discovery, and learning.

Meet Our Staff
